It is finally spring weather!
I just love it. Don’t you? 😀
From everything being dead, gray, and ugly in the cold winter to it being lush, green, flowers blooming, and everything so alive in the spring! Like a newly converted man…saved from his past of being dead in his sins and lifeless, to being made new-born again- alive for the Lord!
Lots of song birds out now as well, which is one of my favorite things. Growing up on a farm land and hearing song birds start every spring. Happy special memories that I cherish!
I am now pretty much completely healed from my wisdom teeth removal surgery. Once in a while I have some jaw pain and my gums are a bit sensitive, but I am glad to be back to eating normal foods again and not being on pain medication!
Another thing I have started up is fitness/ working out…and ohh how I missed it! Coming back stronger than before too. 😀
So, I have been doing Squats, Pushups, Chin ups and Hanging Leg Raises daily so far the last week or so. I might throw in jumping jacks, and other fun “just because” exercises. I hoping to start and perfect my practice with Burpees…Yes, I am a bit intimidated, but very excited too!
I will get another fitness post up soon too. (insert overly excited happy dancing bouncing emoticon)
I have been making supper the last week or so. It’s nice. I usually have been the “dessert maker” in my house, so it is nice to make something real and hearty now. Tonight I am making Oven Baked Herb Chicken (going to try my first time brining it too!) and some sort of vegetable and hopefully baked fries. Perhaps I’ll have the chicken and fry recipes up before too long. 😉
